Cheese Broccoli Potato Soup

Try this simple and sweet treat!

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 tbsp. Cass-Clay Butter
  • I cup onion (chopped)
  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups Cass-Clay milk
  • 1 package frozen broccoli chopped 16-ounce
  • 2 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan
  2. Add onion and cook until tender
  3. Add flour and stir until blended.
  4. Gradually stir in broth.
  5. Heat until slightly thickened
  6. Add milk, broccoli, and potatoes
  7. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until broccoli and potatoes are tender.
