Schlauderaff Dairy

We’ve met so many people and learned so much. I like the process. I think that’s what makes successful farms… figuring out how systems relate and work together. -Schlauderaff said via his article on Dairy Star written by Jan Lefebvre.

Farming has always been a way of life for the Schlauderaff family, deeply rooted in the heart of Vergas, Minn. Twenty years ago, the family took a leap and moved from their mother’s childhood dairy onto their now present farm — and then building it into a thriving operation instilled in tradition and quality.

Together, brothers Casey, Chad, Kelly and Korey carry on the legacy built by their parents Gary and Barb who were both raised on dairy farms themselves. With 650 cows and 2,500 acres, they produce all their own feed — supported by a dedicated team of employees — ensuring the highest quality of care for their herd.

In addition to daily responsibilities, Casey plays an active role in his cooperative, Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) and in the industry at-large. Gary and Barb’s grandchildren are now gradually getting involved on the farm, learning valuable skills and taking on responsibilities. The Schlauderaff family takes pride in providing top quality care for their cows, ensuring wholesome dairy products to families across the country.
